Here's my schedule of panels and readings for this year's WorldCon (World Science Fiction convention), Anticipation 2009, in Montreal, Aug 6-10. I've added the times when I'll be signing at the SF Canada table. Hope to see you there!
Friday August 7:

- 3:00-5:00pm – Signing (Location: SF Canada Table, likely near Dealer's Room)
- 6:00-8:00pm – Aurora Awards Ceremony (Location: P-710A; Participants: Julie E. Czerneda, Eric Gauthier, Diane Walton, Douglas Smith, Edward Willett, Judith Hayman, Liana Kerzner, Peggi WL, Peter Atwood, Stephanie Ann Johanson, Robert J. Sawyer, Susan Forest, Claude Lalumière, Jean-Louis Trudel, Joël Champetier, Michèle Laframboise, Sophie Beaulé, Ursula Pflug; Duration: 2:00 hrs:min)
- 9:00-10:00pm – Panel: Cecil Street Irregulars; A Canadian Writers' Group (Location: P-511A; Participants: Cory Doctorow, Douglas Smith, Karl Schroeder, Madeline Ashby, Michael Skeet, David Nickle, Jill Snider Lum, Sara Simmons) The Cecil Street Irregulars writers' workshop is not its official name; it does not meet irregularly, nor does it meet on or anywhere near Cecil Street. It is, however, one of the longest-lived of current writers groups. Collectively the current and former members have published numerous novels, short stories, plays and poems; all continue to insist (at least publicly) that they look forward to the regular experience of having their work sand-blasted by their fellows.

- 9:00-10:00am – Panel: Selling More than those First North American Rights (Location: P-513B; Participants: Douglas Smith, Frank Roger, Tom Clegg, Katherine (Katya) Pendill) If you keep your foreign rights to your work, how do you sell them overseas? Do you need an agent? How can a writer find a market outside of North America? How can they actively sell their work for translation?
